Room Two, exploring deeper sounds with Manchester’s connoisseurs of drum and bass Soul:ution taking over to launch the debut album by a proper d&b stalwart.
Marcus Intalex’s ‘21’ is his first album proper and it’s been a long-time coming. It showcases his personal take on both drum & bass and music in general and accompanying him at his album launch will be some of his close associates and fellow masterminds of the melodic sounds at 170bpm.
The ever mysterious provider of hauntingly beautiful d&b Calibre, plus the honey toned leader of the Autonomic movement dBridge, will join Intalex along with S.P.Y., Lynx and Fierce who have all been responsible for some of the biggest drum & bass tracks in recent years - tracks that are guaranteed to hold a treasured place in your record collection.
Soul:ution is the club night based around Soul:r artists Marcus Intalex, Calibre, S.P.Y and MC DRS, with regular guest appearances by the likes of dBridge, Lynx, Klute, Goldie and many others.
Since it's inception in Manchester in 2002, the award winning Soul:ution concept has delived many nights of uncompromising music by these popular, experienced and versatile DJs.
Expect soulful drum & bass, but not just that: Soul:ution is about future music, with quality and depth.
In addition to Soul:ution's flagship residencies in Manchester, Berlin, and at Fabric in London, further regular events are currently being set up throughout the UK and Europe.
